Meet the Team

Our employees’ first priority is to ensure your fur-baby has a positive grooming experience. We will work together as a team to make sure his/her stay is as comfortable and stress-free as possible and the grooming service is one that exceeds your expectations.

Your fur-baby’s comfort with the grooming team is paramount to a positive grooming experience.

If you are happy with your groomer’s work, we ask that you re-book future appointments with the same groomer. The bond between the groomer and your furry companion is real and consistenly working with the same groomer will give your pup a sense of comfort and as a result, they will be more relaxed and comfortable with the entire experience.

Shauna has spent her entire career in management, including 14 years as the retail manager for Hudson’s Bay. In 2016 she decided to leave the retail world and became the second owner of Adorable Dogs Grooming Spa.

With her retail background, she grew the company from a small grooming salon, using her retail background to research and add high-quality product lines to the business. She was a successful owner/operator for four years before selling the business in 2020. She spent two years working for the buyer and continued to manage the store, before buying the salon back in 2023.

In December 2023 Shauna sold the business to Posh Paws Fur Cause and is now the Salon Manager. Her vast knowledge of the grooming industry makes her an invaluable asset to the business and to the team. Her current role as Salon Manager not only includes the day-to-day management of the salon, she is also heavily involved in business development, customer-relations management, and staff coaching.

In 2003 Beverly took a position as a Controller for a Dartmouth-based demolition company and six years later, she was the controller for a demolition company. She has been working closely with her Salon Manager (the previous owner), streamlining processes in advance of the re-branding of Adorable Dogs to Posh Paws Fur Cause.
